1. Who We Are

ProQuote is operated by Alpine Freight LLC, an Ohio limited liability company ("we," "us," or "ProQuote"). Website: useproquote.com. Privacy contact: privacy@useproquote.com.

2. Two Roles We Play

ProQuote acts in two distinct legal capacities:

Data Controller — for contractor account data (your name, email, subscription info). We determine how this data is collected and used.
Data Processor / Service Provider — for end-customer data you enter into the app (homeowner names, addresses, phone numbers, service history). We process this data solely on your behalf and may not use it for any other purpose.

As a contractor using ProQuote, you are responsible for maintaining your own privacy disclosures informing your customers that ProQuote processes their data on your behalf.

3. Data We Collect

We collect data in five categories:

Contractor account data — name, email, phone, business address, company code, subscription tier, Firebase UID
End-customer data you enter — customer names, addresses, phone numbers, property details, service history, equipment records
E-signature data — signature image, signer name and email, IP address, timestamp (UTC), device info (OS, model, app version), geolocation (with consent), consent text displayed, SHA-256 document hash, complete event sequence audit trail
Device and technical data — device type, OS version, app version, IP address, crash reports
Usage data — features used, screens viewed, navigation patterns

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services to operate ProQuote:

Firebase Authentication (Google) — account creation and sign-in. Google Privacy Policy
Cloud Firestore (Google) — synced business data storage; SOC 1/2/3 and ISO 27001 compliant. Google Privacy Policy
Apple StoreKit 2 — subscription payment processing. ProQuote never accesses your payment information. Apple Privacy Policy
Crisp (Crisp IM SAS, France) — in-app customer support chat. When you contact support, your name, email, and subscription tier are sent to Crisp's servers. Crisp Privacy Policy
Intuit QuickBooks Online — if you connect QuickBooks, ProQuote requests the com.intuit.quickbooks.accounting OAuth scope to read and write the following data on your behalf: customers (name, email, phone, billing address), estimates (line items, totals, status), and invoices (line items, totals, payment status). ProQuote does not access payroll, banking, tax, employee, or vendor data. Disconnecting QuickBooks: You may disconnect at any time from inside the app (Settings → QuickBooks → Disconnect) or directly from your Intuit account at appcenter.intuit.com/app/myapps. Upon disconnection, ProQuote immediately revokes the OAuth token with Intuit, deletes the refresh token from our servers, and stops all data exchange with Intuit. Previously synced records remain in both systems but are no longer kept in sync.

ProQuote does not use analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, advertising identifiers, or third-party data collection tools. We do not sell or share your data with advertisers or data brokers.

To delete your local app data: Settings → Data → Reset All Data. To request deletion of your cloud data, email privacy@useproquote.com. Cloud data is removed within 30 days of a verified deletion request.

6. Your Privacy Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may request: access to your data, correction of inaccurate data, deletion of your data, and a portable copy of your data. Email privacy@useproquote.com. We respond within 45 days.

Texas residents (TDPSA): You have the right to opt out of any sale of personal data and to appeal our response to a rights request. We do not sell personal data.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what personal data is collected, to delete it, to correct it, to opt out of its sale (we do not sell data), and to non-discrimination for exercising these rights. We honor Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals.

Maryland and Delaware residents: You have the same rights as California residents under MODPA and DPDPA respectively.

7. Data Breach Notification

We maintain reasonable security measures appropriate to the data we process. In the event of a breach affecting Ohio residents, we will notify affected individuals within 45 days of discovery as required by Ohio Revised Code §1349.19.

8. Children's Privacy

ProQuote is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact privacy@useproquote.com for immediate deletion.

9. Changes to This Policy

We will post changes to this page with an updated "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days advance notice via in-app notification or email.
